Affecting Lives and Livelihoods in Orlando
I just finished my week after giving five presentations at the Brandsource Convention in Orlando Florida. It was a great time interacting with the 4,000 people who attended the seminars, those who walked the display floors where the vendors had their new product on display and the group that hangs out for the social hour at the end of each day.
I did a presentation on Leadership for the Brandsource team on Sunday where, I discussed the characteristics of great leaders.
On Tuesday morning at the opening of the convention, I was the keynote speaker in the ballroom for the General Assembly. I gave an update on the American Economy and discussed why America is poised for growth over the next decade.
Then on Tuesday afternoon, I held two seminars on Customer Service. I told those who attended how to change the behavior of their employee’s that will help them improve their levels of satisfaction with
consumers.
The response was overwhelming as I walked around the convention floor and the hotel. People who attended my sessions stopped me all over the facilities and told me how much my stage presentations affected their
attitudes toward the future and the impact it would have on their plans for 2014. At one point it took me an hour to walk about 50 yards across the convention floor as every time I took a step forward someone stopped me to tell me how much they appreciated my speeches. It was so crazy that as I was siting on the plane during boarding, someone stopped and said, “Hey Joe. great speech yesterday at the opening ceremony”!
What a great week of affirmation of the hard work I put in at each venue. My plan was to give the attendees some great information that would They told me I succeeded on that front but they also told me they loved the entertainment value of my delivery.
It was a great week, I am so happy I was able to deliver at every event and add such great value to the Brandsource Convention.
